Rachel is a Kinesiologist who specialises in trauma and its effect on the brain and digestive system. She holds a Bachelor of Complementary Medicine, a Diploma of Kinesiology, and Diploma of Life Coaching and is currently studying a Diploma in Nutrition and has spent 13 years researching and studying the causes of ill health.
Her interest in complementary therapies came after she was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and found that Western medicine in isolation could not provide the solutions she was looking for. She sought out therapies that were individualised to her specific needs and took a more holistic view of illness and disease based on causation rather than symptomology.
Utilising neuromuscular feedback techniques, Kinesiology combines Eastern principles of holism, meridians and chi energy flow with Western medicine’s knowledge and understanding of structure, physiology, biochemistry and microbiology to resolve and release emotional and energetic blockages within the body. Left unchecked, these blockages often manifest into physical illness and disease.
Rachel has found Kinesiology highly successful in facilitating deep healing across the physical, mental and emotional bodies. She aims to provide a safe and supportive environment to facilitate change and empower her clients to take ownership of their own health and well-being by providing the support and tools to help them achieve optimal wellness.
Rachel is a registered Kinesiologist with the Australian Kinesiology Association (AKA).
