A lot of people wonder what will happen during their first visit to a Naturopath. At Shift at Brisbane Natural Health our Naturopaths use a holistic approach to healing your whole body. To do this they need to take a detailed case history, gathering information about your health complaints but also about the health of the rest of your body.
It is this detailed case history along with information gathered from blood and other testing and the analysis of your iris, nails and tongue that will determine what your Naturopath prescribes you for your condition.
Our Shift at Brisbane Natural Health Naturopaths are experts at getting to the bottom of health issues. After your first Naturopath consultation you will gain insight into the underlying causes of your health problem and a have a targeted treatment plan developed for you, aimed at address both your symptoms and the cause.
One of the aims of your initial diagnosis and discovery session is to assess what the underlying cause of your issues are and to see how things are connected in the body. Your naturopath will spend time explaining what is happening from a naturopathic perspective and talk you through what your options are, what the costs involved are and how long you might take to heal.
You’ll also discover if you are a suitable candidate for our Shift memberships, and what level you might require. Our memberships start from as little as $69 per week and will guide you through your treatment process and help keep you on track and accountable so you reach your goals.
The most important thing to know, is that the main aim of your naturopath is to leave you with the following:
- A clear understanding of what your state of health is right now. You will discover which body systems are under pressure, which we need to help most and what areas you need to work on.
- An understanding of what treatment options there are, and what your treatment journey will look like, including supplements and costs.
- A path to move forward in some way, whether it be to make a decision to start treatment, or to immediately change something in your diet or lifestyle that is making you worse.
Most of all, we want you to leave feeling heard, listened to and positive about your future health.
