We are passionate about providing comprehensive health care options to rural and remote communities.
Why rural health?
For years we have seen patients from far and wide, that have flown in to see us, or booked virtual appointments due to the lack of holistic and comprehensive health care available in their local towns. Our naturopaths have seen hundreds of clients from Rockhampton, Gladstone, Goondiwindi, Roma, Mt. Isa, Mackay and more. We’re passionate about offering health education and services to those that are located outside of our major city centres.
Rockhampton as a home base
At this stage, we are running our first satellite clinic out of Rockhampton. We launched Rockhampton in September 2018 and were delighted by the positive feedback we have had from locals, both in regards to our workshops and one on one consultations with our naturopaths.
Rockhampton makes an ideal location to begin as it is the heart of rural queensland. Our founder Katherine Maslen’s family is originally from Rockhampton and we many clients that we have seen from Rocky over the years. We have already began to build some fantastic partnerships with local health and wellness businesses and look forward to forging some great relationships in the coming months.
What do we offer in Rockhampton?
- Live workshops
- In person naturopathic assessment and diagnosis sessions (90min)
- Virtual memberships (with online consultations) in between our Rockhampton visits to keep our members on track
Every 3 months (moving to every 6 weeks next year) we offer the following service in Rockhampton…
Live workshops to help locals be inspired and educated to change their health.
Our next workshops are:
Fatigue and Sleep
Saturday 2nd November 9:00am – 11:30am
Insomnia and poor quality sleep obviously is a major factor in fatigue and you’ll learn why and how to fix it. But fatigue can go way beyond a lack of sleep – it can be due to nutritional deficiencies, immune factors, hormones and much much more.
Anyone that has trouble sleeping knows how frustrating it is, and how much of an impact it has. Your sleep/wake cycle is essential for energy production but also moods and hormonal balance. By correcting energy and sleep, other areas of health will improve and you’ll be feeling great again in no time!
Join naturopath, author, and The Shift Podcast Host Katherine Maslen along with the very passionate naturopath Iwa Brown as they help you understand why fatigue happens and what you can do about it.
In this workshop, you will discover…
- Why fatigue is so common
- Which nutrients and food you need to make energy
- The causes of insomnia and what to do about it
- How to wake up feeling refreshed and energised
- A practical plan to help you fight fatigue and sleep well
